School governance, management and finance
We, with the Slough Children's Partnership, have a series of key strategic documents which outline the vision, improvement priorities, targets and actions to improve the life chances of children and young people in Slough.
More on service improvements for children and young people in Slough can be found on the Children and Young People’s Partnership Board pages.

Scheme for Financing Schools
We have a scheme for financing schools, in accordance with government regulations and guidance issued by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), on behalf of the Department for Education (DfE), and in consultation with schools and Slough Schools Forum.
The Scheme for Financing Schools defines the financial relationship between the authority and the maintained schools it funds. It has requirements that relate to financial management and associated issues binding upon the local authority and maintained schools.
