If you have a passion for history and would like to use your time and skills to enable residents and visitors to discover and celebrate Slough’s rich heritage, this could be the role for you. Tasks could include:

  • research in our archives and online in response to customer and staff enquiries
  • selecting archive materials to enrich school visits and support the curriculum
  • delivering tours of the museum pods to local groups
  • labelling and organising archive materials
  • supporting events and activities
  • supporting customers to conduct their own research
