Main Grounds Map
- Cemetery entrance via Lismore Park.
- Crematorium entrance directly off Stoke Road.
- Car parking including disabled bays close to the Crematorium Chapel
Sections
- Labelled alphabetically A-Z, then A1, B1 etc, finishing with O1.
- Grave Numbers rise numerically from 1 to 7,363 – check labels on each section of map. Numbers start again in other areas
- Laid out in grids around the roundabout starting with the oldest graves in cemetery from the 1930s.
- Dedicated area for Muslim burials up to 2022 - R1, P1 and Q1 – left and right of Lismore park entrance.
- Childrens’ Sections (labelled CS) – straight ahead from main entrance and turn right after section R.
- Cremated Remains areas labelled:
- AA to ZZ and
- CP1 to CP951.
- Lawn graves sections - XA to XJ include:
- Muslim grave areas XH and XJ
- Current multi-faith burial section: XG
- Memorial shrubs to the left of the main crematorium drive.
- Gardens of Remembrance to the right of the drive and beyond the car park at the Crematorium chapel.
- Newly opened Cemetery Extension in raised areas beyond XG.
Parking
- There are 3 disabled parking spaces next to V Section, just before the Cremated Remains graves sections.
- There are 35 parking spaces and 6 disabled parking spaces provided at the XJ section.
- Visitors may park considerately on the main roadways around the older sections (A – Z) near the Lismore Park entrance or around the lawn grave sections (XA to XG). Please do not park on any grassed areas and please always leave room for another vehicle to pass.
Cremated remains map
Cremated remains graves area is reached by taking the road to the left of the hedge at the approach to the car park from the Lismore Park cemetery entrance.
- Cremated Remains areas are labelled:
- AA to ZZ and
- CP1 to CP951.
Sections
- AA and BB are on the left opposite the Garden of Remembrance before the main section.
- CC, DD and EE are on the outside of the section on the left hand side.
- FF, GG, HH, MM and PP are in the first and smallest area, opposite lawn graves in XA.
- Other cremated remains graves of this numbering format are in the second (middle) area.
- CP1 to CP951 are in the largest, furthest area.
