Slough Cemetery was opened in 1932 and is laid out so visitors can drive to graves. Graves for cremated remains and full lawn graves offer families a choice of resting place.
Please note: No dogs (except guide dogs or assistance dog) allowed in the cemetery or crematorium grounds.
Slough Crematorium opened in 1963 and is situated within the grounds of Slough Cemetery.
Use the detailed map of the grounds to locate grave sections.
Floral tributes or cut flowers may be placed in vases provided in our conservatory leading to the Remembrance Room.
Please note only funeral corteges should drive under the Chapel arch and under the canopy by the Book of Remembrance.
Accessibility information
There is a large car park with disabled bays. During office hours, toilets are accessible from the waiting room, including a disabled toilet. During cemetery opening hours an outside disabled toilet is available opposite reception.
All paths are hard-surfaced and have dropped kerb access to grave sections. Raised areas have both stepped and ramped access.
Travel by public transport
The nearest bus stops to the cemetery and crematorium are the Lismore Park stops on Stoke Road, served by the WP1 bus route. Another nearby stop is Myrtle Crescent on Elliman Avenue served by the 7 and 12 bus routes. The nearest train station is Slough - a 20 minute walk away.
Hours of opening to the grounds
The grounds are open 365 days per year to enable visitors to access the cemetery and crematorium, including the Remembrance Room to read an entry in the Book of Remembrance.
Times alter when British Summer Time begins and ends (when the clocks change).
- 9.00am to 7.30pm during the summer months.
- 9.00am to 4.30pm during the winter months.
Office enquiries
The office is open between 8.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
Reception is open between 9am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays and Public Holidays. This is in addition to telephone queries during office hours.
