What to do if you discover fly-tipping, fly-boarding or fly-posting
If you discover fly-tipped waste
- Do not touch the waste as it may contain syringes, toxic chemicals or other hazardous items.
- Do not disturb the site as there may be evidence that could help identify the fly-tippers and lead to their prosecution.
- If taking photos to report it, only approach the fly-tipping site if you feel it is safe to do so.
