The council has developed a digital infrastructure tool kit that provides guidance to code operators who are interested in installing 4G/5G small cell infrastructure on Slough Borough Council owned street furniture.
The digital infrastructure tool kit sets out the :
- process to make a formal application to the Council for a Wayleave agreement.
- standard financial terms to operators seeking to host small cells onto the Council’s street furniture including CCTV columns, lighting columns, bus shelters and advertising hoardings.
- duration of the wayleave agreement to network operators.
The digital infrastructure tool kit is a living document and will be continuously updated by the Council.
