Welcome to the dedicated hub for Autism support and advice. Our mission is to create an inclusive community where every autistic individual can thrive and feel valued. We envision a future where every autistic adult in Slough leads a fulfilling life, embraced by a society that understands and accepts them. We believe in empowering individuals, promoting independence, and ensuring equal opportunities for all.
Our Autism Strategy is a result of collaborative efforts with autistic individuals, health partners, and the community. We’ve listened, learned, and co-produced a strategy that truly addresses the needs and priorities of our community.
Our action plan outlines eight key priorities, including:
- promoting independent living
- improving health and social care integration and
- enhancing employment opportunities.
We’re committed to making these priorities a reality. The strategy is overseen by the Autism Steering Group.
