Do you know a young person in Slough whose contribution to the community inspires you and deserves recognition?
Maybe, it’s an individual who has overcome personal challenges or opened their own business! Now’s the time to speak up! Nominations are open for the Slough Youth Awards, being held on 22 November 2024.
It all started 9 years ago, by our very first Slough Youth Parliament(SYP) who created this event to highlight the great things our youth do locally and ensure a positive spotlight was put on those who overcome and contribute. Now supported by the Youth Voice team and a part of SYP’s current manifesto, we help recognise and celebrate the amazing achievements of Slough’s young people. Some of our previous winners have gone onto work at Sky TV, be part of national committee’s, volunteer, work in the community and progress successfully onto university.
You can nominate a Slough resident aged 11-25, in 1 or more of the 6 categories below. They will all be invited to the awards, where winners and runners up will be announced. It will be a high energy night with performances, food, and lots more!
