The School transport farepaying scheme application form (the form to apply for a school travel pass) is temporarily unavailable.

All schools except Grove Academy

 You can apply for travel assistance under mainstream and SEND criteria via the Citizen Portal.

If your child has a specialist healthcare need you may also be asked to complete the travel care plan. If you do not complete this form and a care plan is needed, it will delay your application.

The transport team will notify you of the outcome of your application within 10 working days of receipt of a correctly completed form.

If you require further information on transport to school please email education.transport@slough.gov.uk.

Travel pass for a school bus

To apply for a travel pass for a school bus complete the School transport farepaying scheme application form online. You will need to complete this form each year that you want to be part of the scheme.

There is no guarantee of a seat as we don't provide extra seats for farepayers. These are spare seats on existing services, offered on a discretionary basis.

  • Full academic year - £885
  • Two terms - £590
  • One term - £295
Lost or damaged travel pass

If you have lost or damaged your travel pass order a replacement school travel pass.

Please email BetterBy@slough.gov.uk to request the application pack, which includes the full eligibility criteria, terms and conditions, and an application form. The pack can be emailed or posted to you.

The application form needs to be completed in pen and posted to:
