Year 7 applications for entry in September 2025
The deadline for on-time applications for Slough residents with children in Year 6 moving to secondary school (Year 7) in 2025 was 31 October 2024 and has now passed. If your child was born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014 and you missed this deadline, you can still apply through the School admissions late application form for secondary school admissions for the September 2025 intake.
Please note any applications submitted after 31 October 2024 will only be reviewed from 3 March 2025. This is once the on-time applications have been reviewed and the first round of offers have been given to them.
Applications must be made by a parent or guardian who holds legal parental responsibility for a child. And only one application per child is permitted.
If you urgently require a place in either secondary or primary school for the current academic year 2024-25), then please complete an in-year application form through the Citizen Portal.
Reception applications for entry in September 2025
The application process for Slough residents is open.
If you have a child who was born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021, you must apply for a place in Reception for September 2025. The deadline is 15 January 2025.
Applications must be made by a parent or carer who holds legal parental responsibility for a child. Only one application should be made per child.
Infant to Junior School transfer applications for entry in September 2025

Junior schools provide education for children 7 to 11 years. They cover four school years, Years 3 to 6.

Education, Health and Care Plan
If your child have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), you cannot apply for a place through the Admissions Team. Please contact the SEND Team using the email address SENDteam@slough.gov.uk
