support children’s learning as directed, in the context of fostering individualism & selfesteem e.g. modelling the use of appropriate language, facilitating discussions
develop & use knowledge & skills to contribute to children’s learning
assist with the planning, preparation & development of work programmes for children
prepare resources to support a range of learning activities
work with small groups or individuals to enable learning
organize & maintain the learning environment
work as part of a team, to ensure the well-being, behaviour & personal development of all children enhances their learning opportunities
maintain very high standards of care
provide welfare support to childre
discuss with the teacher & contribute to curriculum & class planning
assist with the personal cleanliness of children as appropriate
establish & maintain relationships with individual children & groups
ensure that the school’s Health & Safety policy is adhered to at all times
uphold the school’s policy on equality & inclusion
attend & contribute to staff meetings & planning meetings
follow the school’s Healthy School guidelines
follow the school’s guidelines, policies & procedures
undertake any reasonable duties as required by the Headteacher
undertake an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check
contribute to the children’s Learning Journals.
undertake professional development training.

To undertake any jobs as directed by the Headteacher or Class Teacher.
