What is Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA)?

The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) helps us understand the current and future health and wellbeing needs of people in Slough. It provides key insights to support planning and decision-making by local authorities, the NHS, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and other partners to improve health outcomes in the community.

The Slough Health and Wellbeing Board is responsible for overseeing the JSNA and ensuring that services are designed to meet local needs. The insights gathered from the JSNA shape the Slough Joint Wellbeing Strategy, which focuses on improving health and reducing inequalities across the borough.
