The autumn term of adult learning courses will begin on 18 September.
There is still plenty of time to enrol for a course, run through the council’s community learning team.
Councillor Paul Kelly, lead member for education, children’s services, lifelong skills and governance, said: “Residents who attend these courses pick up great new skills, expand on existing ones and even earn qualifications which look great on their CVs.
“There is such a variety of courses, from English, maths and digital skills, to employability skills with job seeking workshops and career workshops and health and wellbeing courses in flower arranging, sewing and cake decorating. Have a look at the course brochure as I’m sure there will be something for everyone to enjoy.”
To enrol on a course, you will need to attend an assessment session with the team.
There are enrolment sessions at The Curve from 7-13 September, with walk-in and pre-booked appointments available.
Please call 01753 476611 for more information on how to book an assessment.
You can also go along to the learning advice point at The Curve between 9am and 3pm, Monday to Friday.
