Renting an allotment plot is a way of accessing land to grow your own fruit, flowers and vegetables. It is also a great way of improving a healthier lifestyle, saving money and getting involved with your local community.
Slough has more than 916 plots on 13 allotment sites throughout the borough, with economically priced plots available to all borough residents.
Fees
Rent fees for an allotment will vary according to the site and size of the plot. Concessions are available for people who are registered unemployed or who are aged 60 or over.

How to apply
Please complete the request an allotment form.
On offer of an allotment, you will be required to provide proof of residency, evidence of your concessionary status if applicable and sign a tenancy agreement.
Please note that due to the popularity of allotment plots in Slough, there is a waiting list for each site.
Events
The Slough Allotment Competition is an annual event that takes place over the summer months, which recognises the hard work and dedication, plot holders put into their allotments. The plots are judged in various categories; the awards and prizes are presented to the winning plot holders at the Annual General Meeting of the Slough Allotment Federation, usually held in November.
Tenancy termination
If you wish to terminate your tenancy of an alloment, you will need to complete an allotment termination form and return it with all allotment site keys.
