A list of the items you can throw away at the Waste Transfer Station and their cost.

DIY waste

DIY waste from small scale projects carried out by the householder can be brought to the Chalvey Household Waste and Recycling Centre up to 4 times a month for free. Beyond this, you will be charged.
You can dispose of the following for free:

  • two lots of 50 litre bags worth of DIY waste
  • one large item of DIY waste (2m x 0.75m x 0.7m) (about the size of a bath tub or a shower screen).

Asbestos

  • 1m x 1m asbestos sheet - £4.80

Tiles, wood and other materials should be removed from the plasterboard before disposal.
