Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP)
SWEP was activated 19 November, 2024 and deactivated on 25 November, 2024.
If the temperature drops again, we will start our SWEP. We want to make sure no one needs to sleep out on the street during the cold weather.

We urge anyone sleeping rough to register for this provision now, so we can plan in advance. Please register, in person, at:
- SHOC/Trinity, Quaker Meeting House, 74 Ragstone Rd, Slough SL1 2PX
- the Salvation Army in Stoke Road, Slough.
If you are concerned about anyone sleeping rough and would like to help them to a safe and secured accommodation during the cold weather, please use the Street Link website to report rough sleeping.
During out of hours (between 5pm and 9am), please contact the Emergency Duty Service on 01344 351 999.
If you see a rough sleeper who may need urgent medical assistance, please call 999 first without delay.
