Sensory impairment support

Support for young people

The Sensory Consortium Service aims to raise standards and achievement for all children, particularly those with sensory impairment.

It is a specialist support service for hearing, visual and multi-sensory impairment. They support, extend and enhance the educational opportunities and achievements of children and young people from 0-19 years with a hearing or visual impairment from diagnosis to entry into the workplace.

A joint arrangement between all local authorities in Berkshire, the service is available to all families and schools within Slough.
