Temporary pause on refund processing

As we prepare for the end of the financial year, our payment team will be closed until 31 March 2025.

Between 20 March 2025 and 1 April 2025, Council Tax will continue to process refund requests within our system. However, these will not be forwarded to our finance team until 1 April 2025.

Please continue submitting your Council tax refund application form so they are ready for processing once operations resume.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund please complete the Council Tax refund application form. If you have issues accessing or completing this form, please call 01753 475111. 

If you pay by direct debit, the refund will be paid directly back into that account.

If you are requesting a refund from a joint council tax account to go into a sole bank account then we will need authorisation from all parties.
