We, Slough Borough Council, use our own petitioning system, which is required to be used so the petition can be taken into account.
We are aware of the use of third-party petitioning sites such as change and accept the use of these third-party sites and also welcome petitioning as part of the democratic process. However, if the petition does not follow our processes and procedures, it may mean the petition is deemed to be invalid. In such a case, we will acknowledge the petition, but it may mean we are not able to fully include it in the democratic process.
