Co-production in Slough was celebrated with a range of speakers including Co-production network members, other partners who use Co-production such as the Living Well project. It demonstrated how co-production is influencing health and adult social care services in Slough.

The day was rounded off by a delicious lunch.

Co-production Network are supported to develop the knowledge and skills to undertake their role. They are offered individual and peer support sessions as well as regular training.

Recent training has focused on :

  • understanding governance and the council decision-making processes
  • understanding safeguarding including roles and responsibilities
  • communication skills
  • health and safety
  • whistleblowing
  • role of Public Health within the council and the community
  • role of Adult Social Care in supporting Slough residents.
