Superfast Berkshire
Superfast Berkshire aims to improve broadband speed and coverage across Berkshire in the areas that are not commercially viable to the private sector.
Funded by all six Berkshire unitary authorities (councils), BT and the Thames Valley Berkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) the project aims to improve the lives of people in Berkshire, giving a much needed boost to the county's economy.
Superfast broadband will bring fibre optic broadband to 91% of homes and businesses across Berkshire by with the remainder enjoying faster broadband speeds thanks to alternative technologies, such as satellites. For Slough this is due to be completed for March 2021.
For more details on this project go to the Superfast Berkshire website.
