Bin collections

Information on bin collection dates throughout the year, including bank holidays. 

When are the bins collected

Grey refuse bins, red recycling bins and green garden waste bins are collected every two weeks (fortnightly).

It is not a grey, red or green bin week for all at the same time. To find out which bin week it is for you, enter your road name in the Find your bin day directory below and check the results.

Please note, green garden waste collections are for those who have subscribed to the garden waste collection service.

How to use the "find my bin day" directory

• Enter the keyword for your road name for example; “Bath” for Bath Road. 
• Do not include your house number or house name when searching.
• Make sure there is no space after you have written your road name.

These dates are for:

• all wheelie bin collections and
• food waste collections for only those in the trial area.
