Financial support grants portal
We have joined up with Lightning Reach, a financial support portal where you can find and apply for a range of financial help. This is a six-month trial.
The Lightning Reach portal has more than 2,500 support schemes including grants from charities, local council funding and support with utility bills, including social tariffs. It can include targeted help with energy bills, home improvements to boost energy efficiency, warm clothing, and essential winter supplies.
If you need financial support to help pay for an unaffordable or unexpected cost, for example, utility bills, disability adaptations or replacement furniture or white goods, you can use this Lightning Reach financial support portal. You will need to answer a 10 to 15-minute questionnaire to complete your profile and then you will be able to:
- check all the available support within the portal you may be eligible for
- get updates when more support is added into the portal, and
- apply for multiple sources of support directly through the portal.
