The council is taking part in the Winter Wheelers initiative with Love to Ride, encouraging people to cycle through the winter.

A borough wide CPZ plan was approved by the council in February 2023, and it will be delivered in stages, with each area going to consultation on the proposals.

A Street Guardians initiative, where volunteers offer support and signposting, is now running in Slough.

Slough Borough Council has today, (27 November 2024), published an independent peer review into the council’s commitment, planning and actions relating to equalities, diversity and inclusion in the organisation and the town.

The Safer Slough Partnership is supporting White Ribbon Day and the 16 days of activism to raise awareness of male violence against women and girls.

Today (20/11), Thames Valley Police (TVP) and partner agencies launched Safer Langley.

A consultation into the future of the council tax support scheme has opened.
