Chequers Bridge in Langley will close overnight for three weeks at the end of July so Network Rail can carry out important maintenance works.
The bridge, where Market Lane meets Mansion Lane and Hollow Hill Lane, will be closed every night for three weeks, from 10pm to 6am, starting Monday 31 July.
Diversions will be in place during these times.
Network Rail’s maintenance team will be repairing existing structural damage to the bridge that is in need of repair.
Councillor Fiza Matloob, cabinet member for transport and highways, said: “We understand road users find closures frustrating, but we thank them for their patience as Network Rail complete these vital remedial works.
“We have made sure these temporary closures have been scheduled overnight to minimise disruption and inconvenience to local residents.”
Chalvey Road West will also be closed for 2-3 nights from Saturday 29 July so SSE can carry out emergency electric works.
Diversions will be in place.
