The Voluntary Sector Members’ Panel’s role is:-

1.  To assess issues and opportunities for the voluntary and community sector locally, in the context of developments in the Government’s policy.

2.  To meet regularly with representatives of the Voluntary Community Sector to discuss shared issues and concern.

3.  To maintain a body of knowledge within the elected members about the range and nature of the Voluntary Community Sector and the Council’s relationship with it.
