Slough Young People’s Service is vibrant, busy and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable young people across Slough. It is a service that is highly regarded and valued by young people and partners.
This challenging, but exciting role will help, equip and support young people to over come barriers that they are facing to ensure they make a successful transition in to adulthood. You will be working with identified groups and individual young people on a range of issues including gangs, anti social behaviour, relationships, developing aspirations and life skills.
As well as being able to work under pressure and maintain a calm and professional approach in difficult situations such as dealing with challenging behaviour, a Demonstrable experience of working with young people who have been identified, labelled as vulnerable, ‘hard to engage’, disaffected or in need of additional support is essential.

You will be required to work regular evenings and weekends.
